Open Mic Night, Contest Night, Trivia Karaoke, or Tip Jar Special. Each one pre-fills the settings most KJs reach for. Tweak from there or save your own as the next preset. Past sessions also surface as "From your library" so you don't rebuild every Friday.
No app, no signup. Type a stage name, pick a song. Their request lands on your dashboard, and the song search has already looked it up on YouTube. Tap a result to assign it.
Drag to reorder. Fairness mode puts a repeat singer behind everyone still waiting for an earlier turn. The next singer's phone says they are on deck, and buzzes when it is their turn. Drunk regulars solved.
YouTube plays on the venue TV. A voice can announce who is up next. Between songs the TV flips between the join QR and the line, and the tip screen is one tap away.
Contest Mode opens voting the moment you mark a song done or hit Next, and crowns the winner on the TV, prize and all, when the night ends. Trivia Hybrid runs a Name That Tune round between singers: every singer in the queue answers on their own phone, the TV shows the question and a live count of who has answered, and whoever wins gets a Priority Pass and jumps the queue. Drunk-regular-jealousy, solved.
What makes it shine
Most karaoke software is a glorified song list. Brainflood adds the bits that turn a slow night into an event.
The stage, the song search and the queue, and nothing else in the way. Pause, End, Quick Trivia and Open TV in the header; display, voice and settings fold away until you need them. On a phone the queue sits right under the stage. Four built-in presets (Open Mic, Contest, Trivia Karaoke, Tip Jar) so the Friday setup is a one-click load.
Everyone in line rates every song 1 to 5 stars on their phone. Standings rank singers by average stars, one vote per phone, and nobody rates their own song. Crown the winner puts the top singer and the prize on the TV. Trivia between songs hands out Priority Passes that skip the singer queue. The room never goes flat.
Name That Tune rounds between singers, answered on the singers' own phones with a live tally on the TV. Or drop a real quick trivia game over the set: pick a preset (mixed, music, Name That Tune, picture, true or false), pick how many questions, or hand-pick from the packs. The TV returns to the queue when you say so. Dead air, gone.
Every singer's phone shows their spot and buzzes when they are almost up. They can change their song until they go on, sing again with one tap, and win a trivia burst with confetti on screen. The KJ sees who has the mic and how many are waiting at a glance.

No music licensing nightmare. We use YouTube. Audio routes through your existing PA. Lyric videos work, karaoke channels work.
