The Gig Board · for hosts

Regular gigs near you, sent to you.

Bars, restaurants and breweries post the nights they want filled: trivia, karaoke, bingo, music bingo, Pick'em, private events. List where you work and what you run, get an email when a gig near you goes up, and answer it with the nights you have actually run.

Less cold-calling. More booked nights.

Walking into bars with a pitch still works, and our Finding Venues guide shows you how. The Gig Board is the other half: owners who already know they want a host, telling you which night, what they want run, and what they can pay.

📍

Gigs you can actually reach

Set your city and how far you will drive, from 5 to 100 miles. You only hear about nights inside that circle.

🗓️

On nights you are free

Tell it which nights you work and what you run. A Friday karaoke gig does not land in the inbox of someone who only does Tuesday trivia.

💬

Straight to the owner

Answer a post with an intro. When the venue accepts, you swap contact details and get a message thread. No middleman on the money.

How it works

List once. Hear about the good ones.

  1. List yourself

City, how far you travel, which nights, what you run, your rate, and whether you bring your own gear.

  2. Get alerts

An email the moment a gig that fits you is posted nearby, or one weekly roundup. Your pick.

  3. Answer with proof

Your intro carries your card: nights run on Brainflood, player ratings, reviews from venues you have worked.

  4. Book it, get reviewed

Book the night on the board. After it runs, you and the venue review each other.

Venues can find you too: owners see suggested hosts for their post and can send you an intro first.

Before anyone says yes, the public sees

  • Town and state
  • A map pin at the ZIP code's center, not the venue
  • Counts only, like "12 people want trivia here"
No phone numbers, emails or street addresses.

After a yes, the two of you see

  • Names, phone and email
  • Directions to the exact address
  • A message thread to settle the details
Only inside the accepted intro.

Hosts: see where people are asking

Walk in with the demand, not a hunch.

Players use the Gig Board to ask for the nights they want, near their ZIP or at a bar they name, and their neighbors back the ask. Your dashboard maps those asks inside your travel radius: which bars people named, what they want run, and on which nights.

Pick a bar and make a pitch kit: a one-page sheet that says it for you ("32 locals asked for trivia here", with the real count), and a link the regulars can back. Owners can see the same asks for their place, so the numbers you bring are the numbers they can check.

Your record does the talking

Every night you run counts.

Owners get pitched by people who say they are great. Your card shows what Brainflood saw instead: how many nights you ran on the platform, how players rated them, and what venues said after a real booking.

New here? Your record starts with your first night. Run your regular games on Brainflood and the card fills itself in.
