How a Bluff round runs
Five beats. The first one is "panic-write your fake answer." Everything good comes after that.
01
Pose a question
"What does 'sackbut' mean?" or "What's the actual plot of Tron: Legacy?" The room thinks they know. Half do.
02
Teams submit fake answers
90 seconds to write the most convincing lie they can. Submitted answers go through dedupe so two teams writing the same fake don't break the round.
03
Real plus fakes go on the screen
Anonymized, shuffled. The display shows the real answer mixed in with all the fakes. Nobody knows who wrote what.
04
Everyone votes
Tap the answer you think is real. Vote tallies update live on the projector as they come in. The reveal pause is the whole show.
05
Reveal and score
Real answer lights up green. Each fake shows who wrote it and how many people it fooled. Big points for the team that fooled the most. Modest points for the players who picked the real answer. The fake-answer winner usually goes viral at the table.
