Game Modes

Eight complete formats are live: Classic, Brainpardy, Lightning, Bluff, Bingo, Karaoke, Tournaments, and Sports Pick'em (Beta). Each has its own host UI, timing model, and projector display.

Questions

Over 12,000 questions now live in our curated database, with custom categories, favorites, and CSV import. The new question explorer is available in both grid and table views and is shared across the host workspace, admin tools, and the in-wizard picker.

Quick Rotate swaps in a fresh alternative for any question with one click. Bulk Rotate handles a whole set directly in the round picker.

The New Game Designer

We rebuilt the wizard around a visual round timeline, tabbed configuration (Basics, Type Setup, Questions, Live Preview), and live mini-previews for every round type.

The AI Event Builder

This has been our main focus. Drop in an event brief and the AI walks you through clarifying questions, generates rounds, builds question packs, and assembles a base slideshow from photos you upload. Sessions stay durable across reloads and tab handoffs.

Six starter presets are ready out of the box: Wedding, Corporate, Birthday, Pub Trivia, Pub Karaoke, and Open Mic.

Karaoke

Contest Mode adds audience voting, star ratings, and a dedicated public contest display. Trivia Hybrid slots Name That Tune rounds between singers. The KJ Dashboard tabs across Queue & Stage, Display, Voice, and Settings, with priority pass for trivia winners and a 50-singer queue underneath.

The Community Forum

A rich-text editor with mentions and code highlighting, inline image upload (no URL prompts), full-size image viewing on click, GIF and emoji pickers, sixteen reaction types, mention notifications, thread read tracking, moderator tools, and AI content screening for new posts.

The Infrastructure Side

Test coverage stays above 2,900 with zero failures, and that remains the rule.

The marketing site holds an A+ security grade with hardened CSP, HSTS preload, and standard modern hardening. Schema migrations are versioned. Secrets are centralized off-disk. The production network runs over a private mesh between our hosts, with full SSL and hardened SSH on every node. Metrics and dashboards run continuously.

Polish Work

Mobile touch targets are sized for real fingers (44 × 44 minimum). Inputs are 16 pixels everywhere to suppress the iOS auto-zoom you’ve seen on other sites. The reduced-motion preference is respected globally, so neon and confetti turn off automatically for anyone who needs them off.

What’s Next

Public GA is still waitlist-gated while we onboard the first wave of hosts. Contest Mode and the Karaoke Trivia Hybrid are about to land at flagship venues. The Event Builder keeps growing as hosts tell us what events they’re actually running.
